www.takebackyourhealth.com www.takebackyourhealth.com www.takebackyourhealth.com Protease is responsible for breaking down the meats that individuals take in. That is the most difficult substance for us to metabolize. This really is exactly why protease is among the more important enzymes that people have. Proteins need to be fully digested or they are going to make their way to our circulatory system and additional organs. Lipase works in the little as well as large intestine as well as is in charge of the absorption and digestion of vitamins and minerals. It smashes down lipids (fats) that come from the fats that people eat. Once they will are broken down into smaller components these people are more easily assimilated in the intestines. When your own digestive system is functioning correctly our bodies are better able to fight away disease and also infection. That is exactly why nutritionists believe that enzyme supplementation keeps the body healthy and can be a benefit to everyone. While supporting good health enzyme supplementation could be of additional benefit for anyone suffering from diseases that affect the digestive system. When your overall digestive health is improved it’s going to aid your body in the absorption of much needed nutrition as well as improve overall health. www.takebackyourhealth.com www.takebackyourhealth.com

Kenneth Understanding Your Food & The Role of Enzymes Part 8
May 19th, 2012
Janice www.takebackyourhealth.com www.takebackyourhealth.com www.takebackyourhealth.com Digestive Enzyme Supplements The use of supplemental digestive enzymes can help support your body so that you have fewer sensitivity reactions. Taking a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme product is a simple way to more fully digest the food you eat so that it can be delivered to your cells in a form that they can use. Enzymes also help reduce leaky gut and food sensitivities because there is less irritation in the small intestine. Many people feel a difference the first time enzymes are taken with food. You may need two capsules with a large meal, or with meals containing foods that you are sensitive to. Take them with you if you are going to a party or eating out. Even if you are careful, gluten, dairy and other food components can easily show up in a meal. Look for enzyme products that have a broad array of enzymes. They should be specific about which enzymes are contained in the formula and also list the activity units. Activity units give you the strength of the specific enzyme. The abbreviations for the activity units are specific to the type of enzyme. For example, protease enzymes are listed as HUT, amylase enzymes are DU, and lactase as ALU. Enzymes derived from animal pancreas use activity units as USP. With either system, the higher the unit numbers the greater the activity. Though this is a key component, it is important to realize that superior enzyme products are blended like fine …

Brown Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) Production In The Stomach Animation
May 18th, 2012
Helen
This is a quick animation of how HCl is produced in the stomach. So this was extra credit for a class and I didn’t have much time to go more in detail. I apologize for any errors that the animation might have. I also included what I was saying, because I know some people learn better if they are able to read it. Hydrochloric Acid Production in the cell •In order to protect the cells from the damaging acidity of hydrochloric acid, the parietal cell has to produce the components of HCl separately. •Histamine, Gastrin, and ACh will bind to receptors on the parietal cell. This initiates the HCl production process. All three chemicals have to bind to cell in order for this process to occur, otherwise hydrochloric production won’t happen. •Carbon dioxide diffuses into the cell, and the enzyme carbonic anhydrase catalyzes the reaction between carbon dioxide and water to form carbonic acid. •Carbonic acid dissociates into bicarbonate ion and hydrogen ion. As the bicarbonate ion accumulates into the cell, bicarbonate ion is ejected through the basal cell membrane into the capillary blood. As a result, blood draining from the stomach is more alkaline than the blood serving it, this is known as the alkaline tide. •The bicarbonate/chloride antiporter in the plasma membrane exchanges bicarbonate molecules going out for chloride ions coming in. This is known as a chloride shift. •ATP will bind to the hydrogen/potassium ATPase, where potassium ions are counter transported into the …

How to prevent HIV/AIDS? Therapy and Possible Prevention
May 17th, 2012
Janice www.rudramani.com – More information In-vitro tests of the plants Shilajit, Ashwagandha and Tulsi on Reverse Transcriptase, an enzyme that is found in the (HIV) and causes it to multiply. The tests showed that these herbs act against this enzyme effectively.Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lentivirus (a member of the retrovirus family) that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS),[1][2] a condition in humans in which progressive failure of the immune system allows life-threatening opportunistic infections and cancers to thrive. Infection with HIV occurs by the transfer of blood, semen, vaginal fluid, pre-ejaculate, or breast milk. Within these bodily fluids, HIV is present as both free virus particles and virus within infected immune cells. The four major routes of transmission are unsafe sex, contaminated needles, breast milk, and transmission from an infected mother to her baby at birth (perinatal transmission). Screening of blood products for HIV has largely eliminated transmission through blood transfusions or infected blood products in the developed world. HIV infection in humans is considered pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Nevertheless, complacency about HIV may play a key role in HIV risk.[3][4] From its discovery in 1981 to 2006, AIDS killed more than 25 million people.[5] HIV infects about 0.6% of the world’s population.[5] In 2009, AIDS claimed an estimated 1.8 million lives, down from a global peak of 2.1 million in 2004.[6 …
